Zhengzhou Session – Successfully Completed

From December 3–4, 2025, the Zhengzhou session of Pan Chao’s Enjoy Orthodontics Skills Workshop, hosted by Headway Orthodontics and Headway Zhixing Academy, was successfully held.Over the two-day program, Dr. Pan Chao delivered an intensive and clinically grounded course, sharing his profound academic insight and extensive clinical experience with orthodontists from across the country.

Expert Guidance, Full Knowledge Sharing

The course was led by Dr. Pan Chao — Associate Chief Physician, Orthodontics MSc, member of multiple national and provincial orthodontic committees, and a senior invited lecturer of Headway. With numerous national case awards, Dr. Pan structured the sessions around key clinical challenges, using abundant real cases to decode complex treatment logic and translate it into practical clinical protocols. His clear explanations strengthened participants’ theoretical foundations and broadened their clinical perspectives.

In addition, four instructors from Dr. Pan’s orthodontic team — Le Xianzhi, Deng Chao, Kuang Yanhong, and Hu Wenjing — joined the workshop. During the hands-on sessions, they provided attentive, one-on-one guidance to ensure every participant could learn effectively and gain valuable skills.

Systematic Approach, Addressing Core Challenges

Day 1 — Precision in Micro Screw Application

Day 2 — The Art of Traction and Uprighting

The second day focused on the art of traction and uprighting, covering:

l Maxillary anterior traction

l Management of inverted central incisors

l Traction of palatal/labial impacted canines (open-window and tunnel approaches)

The workshop also included a comprehensive module on molar uprighting, addressing:

l Uprighting of maxillary and mandibular wisdom teeth

l Closing molar spaces

l Managing buccal/lingual impaction, mesially inclined low-positioned teeth, and fully impacted wisdom teeth

 Participants gained a complete workflow for turning “difficult cases” into “clinical resources.”

Learning Through Theory and Practice

The combination of in-depth lectures and hands-on exercises greatly enhanced learning outcomes. Participants immersed themselves in the academic atmosphere—taking notes, asking questions, and practicing with professional instruments and models provided by Headway. Practical operation helped deepen their understanding of critical techniques.

Many clinicians shared that the course offered highly applicable clinical guidance, solving many of their real-world challenges and boosting their confidence to manage similar cases in the future.

Honoring Excellence, Celebrating Growth

At the closing ceremony, Headway presented Certificates of Appreciation to Dr. Pan Chao, Le Xianzhi, Deng Chao, Kuang Yanhong, and Hu Wenjing, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their dedication, long-standing partnership, and valuable contributions throughout the workshop.

All participants also received a Joint Certificate of Completion, issued by Headway Orthodontics, Headway Zhixing Academy, and Dr. Pan Chao, marking their commitment and growth during the intensive two-day training.
